“Music has always been in my blood. I grew up singing in church choirs and quickly found my way into Latin pop and regional Mexican music. I started Divine because I wanted to blend tradition with energy — and that’s exactly what we do.”

🥁 Carlos “C-Los” Martinez – Drummer/Percussionist
Q: What do you bring to the Divine sound?
“Rhythm is the heartbeat of the band. I bring Afro-Latin and Caribbean influences to the table, fusing them with cumbia, norteño, and pop beats. We keep the crowd dancing — that’s my job!”
Fun Fact: He once played a surprise set for his favorite artist, Juanes.

“That moment when the crowd is singing and dancing with us. It’s like we’re all connected. As a bassist, I focus on locking in the groove so everyone else can shine — but I’m always vibing with the audience.”

🎹 Marcela “Marci” Ortiz – Keyboardist & Musical Director

“As musical director, I work with everyone to ensure our arrangements are tight and impactful. I blend traditional instruments with synth layers to keep things modern yet authentic.”
